Do not lose your sparkle.

Why do people do that? Why stray away from the right? Why stray away from the good? Why even when we know the troubles we will face we still entertain the feelings, feed on the emotions. 

Why put ourselves in a position where we will compromise our principles? Why allow ourselves to be in a situation where we lay on the line the things that we live for?

What for?

For that tiny specks of bliss? For the warmth? For the hope? For that temporary happiness? That feeling of peace, even for just a moment.

And then you are waken up. The bliss ends. The warmth turn cold, the hope gone. The realization that temporary happiness was just that, temporary. That a moment of peace is not peaceful at all.

Do you end up stonger? Or more broken than before?
